Founded in 1939, Columbia REA has grown to serve over 4,300 members across Walla Walla, Columbia, and Umatilla Counties. Through decades of dedication, this electric cooperative has provided reliable electricity to homes, farms, and businesses while prioritizing the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

Columbia REA is more than just an electric utility—it’s a trusted community partner. Their dedication to service is evident in their proactive communication, exceptional customer care, and ongoing efforts to meet the needs of both members and the community.

Member of the Month Nominations

The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month Award recognizes businesses with outstanding achievements, exceptional customer service, community support, and/or leadership within our community.

Member of the Month Eligibility Criteria

Business must be a current member of the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce in order to be nominated and meet at least one of the following:

Have demonstrated outstanding support to the community and the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Provide superior customer service and/or products.
Considered a successful and professional business by peers.

Recognition will include:

Logo displayed on the wwvchamber.com homepage
Photo with link to member website and a write-up about the business on the Member of the Month webpage
Photo posted to social media
Featured in the First Friday digital magazine
A plaque recognizing the business as Member of the Month
