Film WWV aims to transform the Walla Walla Valley into a sought-after destination for filmmakers and producers.  With its diverse range of landscapes and settings, the valley provides an ideal canvas for a wide variety of production.  

Film WWV is not just about showcasing the beauty of the valley; it’s also about supporting local talent and providing an economic development and long-term visitor enhancement and incentives through our collaboration with Washington Filmworks for filmmakers, actors, and crew members in and out of our region. 

Whether you are a filmmaker searching for the perfect location or a local looking to get involved in the world of film, Walla Walla Valley’s Film WWV invites you to be a part of this exciting journey. 

Behind every successful endeavor, there is a dedicated team with a vision.  In the case of Film WWV, this visionary effort to bring film, television and commercial production to the Walla Walla Valley is led by an exceptional team. Driving the production will be the Chamber CEO, Arlene Alen, who brings with her a background in Film Production, making this team uniquely qualified to spearhead this initiative. She has worked as a film liaison with Washington Filmworks for several years and has taken on that role here in collaboration with Team Walla Walla and our Community Governments. 

But FILM WWV is much more than a one-person show, it’s the result of a collaborative effort that showcases the strong sense of community within the Walla Walla Valley. The Team Walla Walla group is comprised of the CEO’s and Executive Directors including:  Guy Glaeser, Visit Walla Walla, Kathryn Witherington, of the Walla Walla Downtown Foundation along with Liz Knapke of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance along with all their talented teams.

Film WWV is gearing up to host its first FAM tour (Familiarization) this Spring.  Executives from Washington Filmworks and a group of Production Managers will be visiting our valley to explore the area with future production in mind.
